I swear this has to be the stupidest fight Catherine and I have ever had in the four years we have been seeing each other. The last two of course as a married couple. You would think Catherine would cut Lindsay some slack since it is her senior prom. I suggested one, but Catherine wouldn't budge from eleven. Lindsay said she would settle for midnight, but Catherine was being stubborn.

I have to come up with something since Lindsay's boyfriend Alex is picking her up in less than six hours. I mean it's not like I wouldn't be giving him a hard time before they leave since Lindsay is allowing me to torment him to a degree. Damn, why didn't I think of this sooner? I have the perfect plan to make us all happy, but in very different ways.

I finished my tea before heading upstairs since that is where both my girls ended up. When I got to Linds' room, I knocked before popping my head in. I gave her a wink when she turned around. After shutting her door, I walked down the hall to our bedroom. I closed and locked our door as Catherine sat up in bed.

"Cat, first I want to apologize for our fight earlier. Secondly, I think I found a way to make us all happy. If you let Lindsay stay out until one, I will let you do whatever your heart desires to me without any complaints," I said as Catherine climbed out of bed.

She came over and took my hand and sat me down on the bed before walking out the door. She left it open as I saw her head down the hall. Okay, that wasn't the response I was expecting, but I'll wait and see. Then, Catherine came in with Lindsay who gave me a look as I shrugged.

"Okay Lindsay, Sara and I talked it over, and you can stay out until one. We both trust you, so don't abuse it," Catherine explained as Lindsay gave her Mom a hug before launching herself at me knocking me over.

She gave me a kiss on the cheek before whispering to me asking how I got Mom to change her mind. When I didn't answer, she looked at me as I just wagged my eyebrows which made her close her eyes and cover her ears. Catherine started laughing at the sight as I slowly joined in.

"Come on, I don't need to know about my parents having sex, gross," Lindsay said as she ran out of the room. Catherine closed and relocked the door before coming over to me and...
