You were there for me after I found out about Hank. You didn't judge me as we
spent the morning getting drunk and telling stories. You let me sleep on your
couch because you knew I didn't want to be alone, and you were there for me
when I woke up.

You hung out with me after I called you when we closed the Marks case. You
knew, but didn't say that I felt like I was too much like the victim. We spent
the time telling more stories while watching Lindsay play in the park.

You held me as I brokedown
after hearing about what happened with Adam Trent. I felt safe in your arms
while I told you about it reminding of where my mother was, and what led to her
being there. You still held me after hearing about the horrors of my childhood.

Here you were again picking me up after Grissom left. I felt lost until you
took me to your home and took care of me once again. I spent most of the month
that he was gone at your place, and I knew that I never wanted to leave. It
surprised me when I found out you wanted the same thing.

Now, you have given me something that I thought I would never know, a family.
First, it was just you and Lindsay, but then after we talked about it, we
decided to add to the family. The first time I saw Timothy Gregory Sidle
Willows was the absolute best day of my life, and anytime I have a hard case, I
just look at a picture of the four of us, and everything else goes away.
