I walked into to locker room and heard someone throwing up in one of
the stalls. Being a mom, I walked over to see if I could help. "Hey are
you okay in there," I said knocking on the stall door. I stepped back
because I heard the door unlocking. "What the hell do you want?" Sara
said angrily. "You look like shit Sara," I said. "Well thank you,
Catherine, but I have to get back to work," she said shoving me.

"Gil, you have to send Sara home. She looks like hell, and I found
her throwing up," I explained. "You know she won't leave," Gil said.
"She will if you pull rank and tell her she will contaminate evidence,"
I said. He paged her to come to his office. "Grissom what do you need?
Oh this is fucking great, what did she tell you?" Sara said extremely
pissed. "You need to go home. With you being sick, you're going to
compromise any evidence you work with," Gil said sternly. "I'm not sick.
I don't know what she told you, I'm not," Sara said standing her ground.
"Right, that's why you look like that. You're not driving home either,
Catherine can drive you home," Gil said pointing to the door.

"What?!" Sara and I yelled together. "I'm not having her take me
home," Sara said full of anger. "I don't care, Sara. You need to go, and
Catherine is the only one here," Gil said ending the discussion. Sara
and I went to the locker room to pick her things up before heading to
the car. I decided to take her to my place because I figured she didn't
have anything to help her sleep. "Where are we going?" Sara asked still
pissed. "My place, I thought you might not have any medicine," I
explained.

I pulled into the driveway and hopped out to help Sara. "I don't need
your help, I'm not a baby," she said slamming the car door. "The shower
is the second door on the right down the hall," I explained as we came
inside. While Sara was in the shower, I called Gil to call me if he
needs me. "What am I supposed to wear?" Sara asked through the door.
"Here wear this," I said handing her one of my nightshirts. "Catherine,
you need to get back to work," she said. "No, I'm on call. Here take
these," I said handing her two gelcaps and a cup of hot tea.
"What are these?" she questioned. "Nyquil, stop being such a baby and
get in bed," I said pulling the covers back.

"I'm not sleeping in your bed," Sara said defiantly. "Yeah, standing
there teetering is really selling that tone. Now get in bed!" I said
getting angry. "Fine," she said conceding. I put my phone on vibrate in
case Gil called so not to wake up Sara. She fell asleep pretty much as
her head hit the pillow. I can't believe she was acting like Lindsay,
good thing I've had alot of practice. I grabbed the book I've been
reading off the end table and sat down in my comfy chair to keep an eye
on Sara.

I don't know when I fell asleep, but I woke up to Sara sitting up in
bed smiling at me. "What?" I asked yawning and stretching. "Why did you
sit with me all night?" Sara questioned. "Force of habit, I do it all
time with Lindsay," I answered smiling. "But you don't hate Lindsay,"
she said. "I don't hate you Sara. I get frustrated and my inner bitch
comes out," I
explained. "Yeah, but it always seems to come out with me," she said.
"Actually, everyone has experienced it, but ours always end up loud and
public," I said laughing. "It's not funny," Sara said trying not to
smile. "Oh come on, it took me taking care of you for us to get our
problems talked out, that's hilarious," I said joining her on the bed.
We were both laughing when Lindsay popped in to see what was going on.
